Mary Simon appointed as Governor-General is a huge step forward. Through the EU ban processes Ms. Simon was a huge ally and worked closely with many of us (indigenous and non-indigenous) on delegations throughout Europe.  She was always very active supporting Inuit and all Indigenous interests, while also understanding and supportive of non-Indigenous sustainable use interests.

Canadian Seal Products want to applaud this appointment which is an important step toward greater national unity!
