- Participate in the development and implementation of the “Canadian Seal Products Market Development, Marketing and Communications Program”.The Canadian Seal Products Market Development, Marketing and Communications Program is a Proposal to the Canadian Fish and Seafood Opportunities Fund (CFSOF). Project investments through CFSOF are to advance market access and branding opportunities for the fish and seafood sector. The objective of the program is to promote seal oil, meat, fur & leather nationally and internationally. This program is funded by the federal, provincial and territorial governments.The provincial and territorial contributors are NL, NS, NWT. Nunavut, Quebec and PEI are also engaged and supportive of this initiative.

SSN membership is open to any individual and organization directly or indirectly involved in the Canadian seal industry.

SSN membership is available at no cost to the sealing industry stakeholders.

SSN membership is available at no cost to the sealing industry stakeholders but we encourage SSN members to purchase a membership in the Fur Institute of Canada (FIC). The FIC is a generous and committed funding partner in the delivery of the current industry projects now underway. By joining FIC, your membership will allow the FIC to sustain their financial contribution to sealing industry programs.
