Alain Thibodeau holds a PhD degree in cellular and molecular biology from Laval University in Canada. He then undertook a post-doctoral stage at the University of California, at Berkeley, in cellular and physiological biology. He then went back to Laval University to join the research unit in human and molecular genetics as a researcher. Alain joined Groupe SiliCycle in 2019 as the vice-president of the business unit Synéova.
